"When you touch someone's heart, It is limitless" Steve Jobs
I have the privilege of collaborating with 30 or so Leaders throughout the country in "Masterminding" on a weekly basis about topics necessary to teach our teams to help each member attain their relative goals. We each take a major topic and hold a tele-seminar in which all of our teams can listen in, take notes, and learn form one another.
It is wonderful! To learn from others- best practices, new ways of looking and overcoming obstacles, phrasing to hit the mark...I love learning from the best! And, in what business have you ever taught your competition your best practices for the betterment of the entire organization?

Well, when it came to my choice of what I could best contribute, I suggested to my friend/collaborator, Lea Anne that I thought my best topic was "The importance of a powerful 'Why' " I thought that I was really clear on my own "why" and would have no trouble helping others through the process.
Looking for the best way to learn something, really well? Put yourself on a time limit (class in a week) and become the one to teach it to your peers!
Let me give you an idea of the people on this call... pharmacists, RNs, CPA, former PR exec, stay at home moms, Engineer, Interior Designers, High School Teachers, Professors, Realtors, Criminal Justice Administrator, International Hostage negotiator, Singer/Songwriters, Pharmaceutical reps...you get the drift. A pretty elite group who can easily call bull**** if we didn't do a good job. And, they would- and should!
I am happy to say that we did a nice job.
I'll be posting parts of the talk, but I have a few major take-aways:
* Choose an area of your business you think you know really well...and teach that topic. You may be humbled by how much you can sharpen that skill
* Collaborate with a really sharp partner who is also a great editor. Thank you Lea Anne. You are
a jewel!
We are helping people get in touch with their heart to harness hope to build their legacy, and Dream again! It is important to get it right!
